Writing can be simple, but it’s not always easy. Here are some basic guidelines to help you.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN SUBMISSIONS

We love stories and articles that educate, encourage, and help our readers grow. This is your chance to share your experience(s), challenges, successes and the changes you are bringing to the world.

The more real you are when sharing, the more readers will connect with your story.

While we don’t have very strict guidelines about the type of posts we feature, here are some guidelines.

Word count

No minimums, but posts usually run between 300 – 1,500 words. If you have an awesome story to share and even if it’s longer, we will still consider it.

Tone/Voice

Generally uplifting and positive tone, we don’t publish vulgar or negative in tone. A great post will sound like a real person with real life experience wrote it, and it will have a distinctive voice.

Original Content

We don’t mind republishing articles as long “YOU” wrote it and give us full permission to publish it.

Sources/claims

If you mention a statistic or a study in your piece, please include a link to that source. This way, readers can follow your thinking and explore further if they want to know more.

SEO

We are not interested in SEO-driven submissions: If you work for a content farm or are writing articles for the sole purpose of linking up keywords in an effort to boost SEO or to plug a product or brand name in a post, we are not interested.

If your submission or bio has references or promotes a business or service that is not aligned with our philosophy (i.e. porn, or the PUA community, etc.), then we are not interested.

Recognition/Author Bio & Social Media

Since we do not compensate contributors for posts, we’re more than happy to include a brief bio (NO More Than 140 words) containing links to your website, and social media accounts, which we will promote if your post goes live.

Anonymous

If you wish to share your story, but remain anonymous we are happy to honor your request.

We love connecting with new contributors. If your article has been accepted we will respond within 7 days. Please don’t submit the same article twice.
